Ashburn Village Independence Day Parade and Pool Party
 
Sunday, July 5, 2026, 10:00am – 3:00pm
Ashburn Village Sports Pavilion, 20585 Ashburn Village Blvd.

Join us in celebrating America’s 250th birthday with a parade around the Ashburn Village Sport Pavilion’s lake and a pool party at AVSP’s outdoor pool on Sunday, July 5!

Decorate your bikes and scooters for the parade around AVSP Lake starting at 10am. Dogs on a leash are welcome to join the parade! 

After the parade, head over to the AVSP outdoor pool for a party with music, games, a waterslide, dunk tank, kids’ activities and food trucks!

Check-in for the pool party will be held outside of the gate at the AVSP outdoor pool starting at 10:30am. At check-in you will receive a wristband to enter the pool and participate in activities. You will be required to show your Ashburn Village pass at check-in.

This is a FREE event for Ashburn Village residents and AVSP members only. Guests of Ashburn Village residents must use a guest pass or will be charged a $10 entrance fee. All children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult.

Residents, we’re excited for this year’s annual Fireworks Show and can’t wait to celebrate with you!
 
Preparation for the Event:
 
Grab a blanket and join your neighbors for our annual celebration!

Parking & Access Parking is limited — please plan to arrive early and walk. The Lakes parking lot and pool close at 3:30 PM which allows proper time for event setup and a private event.
No public parking will be available in this lot.

National Night Out

Join us for National Night Out on Tuesday, August 4 from 6:30pm – 8:00pm at the Lakes Amphitheater! National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live.
 
Enjoy Bruster's ice cream courtesy of the AVCA and mingle with your neighbors. Let the kids enjoy time in the bounce house and get to know your first responders from the LCSO & AVFRD.

Ashburn Village Kids Triathlon
 
Saturday, August 8, 8:00am
The Lakes Rec Center, 44078 Cheltenham Circle
 
Calling all kids ages 6-15! Join us for the Ashburn Village Kids Triathlon on Saturday, August 8 at 8:00a.m. The Kids Triathlon includes a swim in the Lakes Pool and a bike and run around Cheltenham Circle starting and ending at the Lakes Rec Center. All racers will receive a medal and a t-shirt.
 
Trophies will be awarded for winners in the following age groups:
Ages 6-8: 50 meter SWIM/1.5 mile BIKE*/.75 mile RUN
Ages 9-10: 100 meter SWIM/1.5 mile BIKE*/.75 mile RUN
Ages 11-12: 100 meter SWIM/3 mile BIKE*/1.5 mile RUN
Ages 13-15: 150 meter SWIM/3 mile BIKE*/1.5 mile RUN
 
*A bike helmet is required for the bike portion of this event. Participants must have their own bike and a basic knowledge of how to swim. Aquatic staff will be on deck but not in the water.
 
Cost: Ashburn Village Members $55/Non-Members $60

Ashburn Village Battle of the Bands

Calling all Ashburn Village musicians! Are you in a band or a solo artist? Join us for Ashburn Village’s Battle of the Bands competition! Round 1 will take place at the Ashburn Village Sports Pavilion on Saturday, August 22, and the top two finalists in each category will compete at the Fall Fest on Saturday, September 12.

Eligibility:
Solo artists must be residents of Ashburn Village
All bands must be, at minimum, comprised of at least 25% of Ashburn Village residents
Artists may not register in more than one act
We will not be accepting any bands larger than six members

Doggy Pool Party

Ashburn Village Fall Yard Sale, Shred, Paint and Electronic Recycle Event
Saturday, October 3, 9:00am – 1:00pm 
The Lakes Parking Lot, 44078 Cheltenham Circle
 
Mark your calendars! The Ashburn Village Fall Yard Sale, Shred, Paint and Electronic Recycle Event will be held on Saturday, October 3 from 9:00am - 1:00pm!
 
The shred, paint, and electronic recycle companies will be onsite at the Lakes Parking Lot from 9:00am - 1:00pm. The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office will be onsite at the Lakes during the yard sale to collect and dispose of old prescription medications. A valid ID for proof of residency will be required at drop-off.
 
Your first three paint cans are complimentary and each additional can will be $5 each. These items are not permitted for the paint recycling: wood and deck stains, DryLock, polyurethane sealers, spray paint, and hazardous waste. Please review the electronics restrictions list before you load your cars!
 
Stay tuned for a registration link to sign up your home for the event map or reserve a spot to sell items at the Lakes Rec Center.
